It's early November at Harugaizumi International School. Last week, the whole school put on a cultural festival, with the School Idol Club having a performance in the gym. You got a pretty decent turnout, but that's no reason to rest on your laurels; practice and school both continue this week! Have fun, check out the setting, and keep your ears open. You never know what opportunities will pop up for you!

[Ayaka's there bright and early at practice, sitting in the club room and tapping her pencil.]

So how do you think we did at the Cultural Festival? A great turnout, right? My article's already written for this month's paper!

[And when they move outside for exercise, she's there stretching with everyone, looking up at the sky.]

At least it looks warm today! It'll be impawssible when it gets cold.

[Arianna is in mid-stretch when Ayaka says "impawssible" and immediately breaks down giggling. She loses her balance, and falls over. She's still giggling.]

[anchornyan]

[Ayaka gives a thumbs up.] Hey, don't pull something, senpai!

[daughterofthemark]

I am all right!

[She takes a deep breath to get herself to stop giggling.

It doesn't work.]

[anchornyan]

[She gets up and offers a hand.] You need some help? I mean, I want us to make the front page of B♡nd, but not with someone injuring herself laughing.

[eternalfuture]

[Usagi is not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, but she's actually up and about without someone calling her to wake her up this morning.]

I think it went really well, Ayaka-chan! We had a lot of people come to see us, and I think we sounded better than we did in the last rehearsal.

[anchornyan]

I know, right? Oh, hey, you're on time today, too! That's a good sign!

[eternalfuture]

I'm not always late...

[just on most days that end in y]

A-anyway! Look at this, my friend Minako-chan from home sent me a link to B♡nd!

[she holds up her phone, all proud]

[anchornyan]

Oh, word must be getting out! Let me see!

[She looks at Usagi's phone, scrolling through the page.]

Looks like Sanayume got the front page, but our feature is pretty high up there! "Impressive special effects..." Rita-nyan will be happy about that, huh? "An impressive crowd for the small-town school." Score! Is that what she linked you?

[eternalfuture]

Yeah, it is! It's actually why I'm up so early, she woke me up blowing up my phone with the link.

[Usagi laughs.]

She wants me to send her a video sometime soon. It's not up anywhere yet, is it?

[All smiles.]

I'm sure Rita-chan's going to be proud that they mentioned her hard work. She deserves the credit for it.

If it's nowhere yet, it should be! But no worries, I had my camera filming our dress rehearsals as well as the show, so we'll have a purrfect pro shoot! It's just a matter of cleaning it up and posting it, then sharing it around. We need to figure in peak timing for the algorithm to pick it up, too... Rita-nyan can probably take care of that one, right?

Algo-rhythm? Like the beat of a song?

[she is trying her best]

Mm. If it's technology, then Rita-chan's your girl.

[anchornyan]

Oh, an algorithm is what big websites use to automatically choose which content to show to which users. It's complicated and a lot of people complain about it, but as long as it's there, we need to try our luck with it to see if we can't get more popular, don't you think? So people always try to figure out how best to take advantage of it, like the right words to use in a title or the best time to post!

No kitten. We'll totally have to relocate.

[She lights up and claps.] I knew you'd understand, Miko-nyan. Wonder if we could book the gym that often?
