It's early November at Harugaizumi International School. Last week, the whole school put on a cultural festival, with the School Idol Club having a performance in the gym. You got a pretty decent turnout, but that's no reason to rest on your laurels; practice and school both continue this week! Have fun, check out the setting, and keep your ears open. You never know what opportunities will pop up for you!

[A couple of first-years are on lunch duty today, and the result is fried squid that looks more like burnt squid and soup that tastes like ginger with a hint of soap. Naturally, as soon as the lunch bell rings, you can find Ayaka at Ao-Mart browsing the instant and prepackaged lunch selections.]

Hm... the grilled salmon is pretty cheap, but maybe I should get the omurice. What do you think?

[And after school and practice, it's location scouting time at Southwest Mall! Ayaka will be there taking photos of the cordoned-off stage... until security comes up to her.]

Nyahaha, sorry! I'm just location scouting, you see, we're school idols and we wanted to get a sense of the performing area...

[ Surprise surprise, Ryoko's here as well – she's usually a packed lunch girl, so it's rare to see her over at Ao-Mart for her food. By the looks of things, she's not here for lunch... and instead she's eyeing the fashion magazines. Deeply suspicious. ]

[Hm... this requires study. Ayaka tries to get a look over her shoulder.]

"This season's best influencer looks?" Oh, this is for the live, right?

[ Ryoko jumps a bit and looks like she's halfway to an instinctive denial... but really, what's the point when she's been caught? So instead she just sighs. ]

Well, if I've been volunteered for the center then I need to make sure I look my best.

You could always just ask! Usagi-nyan and Arianna-senpai were talking about fluffy animal coats a little while ago, right? Then again, I don't really know if you'd like that kind of thing...

[Oh shit—Carmel went to go them crepes while Ayaka was taking pictures and she runs up, shifting the crepes around in her hand to pull out a very official-looking piece of paper.]

Sorry, sorry! We got permission from our school to take a few pictures, just to make sure we can set up our lights for our performance.

[Ayaka will know they have no such permission. Why Carmel has a letter saying that seemingly signed by the school president is, uh. Don't worry about it!]

[Security looks it over and grumbles, walking back to wherever they came from. Ayaka laughs and rubs the back of her head.]

Sorry, senpai, I got a little carried away. Who knew they had a problem with people taking pictures?
